Camp Activities
Activities will vary from camp to camp depending on the age group of the campers as well as what the season has to offer. Below are the activities that you will consistently see at our camps!
Chapel
All three camps have twice daily, age-appropriate chapel services. Kids' Campers can expect to learn all about the gospel and other biblical concepts in a fun environment through games, songs, and hands on teaching. Teen Campers will participate in authentic and energetic worship followed by teaching from one of our many talented speakers that visit us from all over the country.
Daily Activities
Every day campers will participate in planned games either individually or in teams. This is a great time to meet campers from other churches and have fun with the dorm leaders! You may also find out you have a skill you never would have known about otherwise: you may be an expert projectile food catcher or impressively fast at opening a gum wrapper with snow gloves on - who knows!
Airsoft
Summer camps always include daily airsoft games for any campers that would like to participate. Kids' Campers will get the opportunity to shoot targets, while Teen Camper's play against each other in the designated airsoft area. Every year this is a highlight for all campers! All airsoft is attentively supervised by camp staff at all times; all gear (including protective) is provided. Parents can opt-out of airsoft during registration.
Swimming
Summer Campers can look forward to daily opportunities to swim in the facility's pool. It is the perfect way to cool off on our all too familiar hot days! All campers who intend to swim at any point during camp (including for team time) complete a swim test on the first day of camp to receive a wrist band permitting them to swim. Any campers who either do not pass the swim test, or elect not to take it, will be required to wear a life jacket if entering the pool area.
Bingo
It might sound cheesy, but bingo is a tradition at Winter Camp! Every year we all look forward to bingo on the last night and finding out what... unique (to put it nicely) prizes Pastor Steve found throughout the year for campers to win.
